Opus Energy’s newest flexible product: Opus Extra offers greater electricity purchasing control and access to the wholesale market.

Reducing energy costs

This innovative product offers customers consuming between ½ GWh and 5 GWh of electricity per annum, for the first time, a chance to move away from traditional fixed products. Opus Extra empowers customers or their representative broker to implement their own individual purchasing strategies.

By using Opus Extra the energy buyer can reduce the risks of fluctuating electricity prices and take advantage of downward trends in commodity costs. This can be achieved by increasing the amount of times they can purchase electricity within a contract term, in order to make up the total required amount.
